Why We Wear Breakaway

Why We Wear Breakaway

It's not about clothing.
And it’s not about profit (we don't!).

It’s about presence. It’s about people. It’s about purpose.

As Breakaway Church launches this summer, what we wear becomes part of how we live out our faith in everyday spaces — grocery stores, gyms, ball fields, coffee shops, neighborhoods. Our merch is simply a tool that helps turn ordinary moments into meaningful conversations.

A Walking Invitation

A Walking Invitation

When you wear Breakaway gear, you’re not promoting a brand — you’re extending an invitation.

A simple logo on a hoodie or tee can lead to:

“Hey, what’s Breakaway?"

“Is that a church?”

“Where do you meet?”

More than marketing... it's ministry.

It creates natural, pressure-free openings to share what God is doing, to invite someone who’s been looking for a church home, or to encourage someone who hasn’t stepped inside a church in years.

A Sense of Belonging

A Sense of Belonging

There’s something powerful about being able to say, “These are my people.”

Whether it’s students at youth, volunteers serving the community, families at a church event, or our church scattered throughout the city during the week...

Wearing Breakaway helps visually remind us — and others — that we’re part of something bigger than ourselves. It represents shared faith, shared mission, and shared commitment to seeing lives changed.

It says:
I belong here. And there’s room for you too.

Faith You Can See

Faith You Can See

Church doesn’t only happen on Sundays. Breakaway is a movement of people living on mission every day.

Our merch is a simple, practical way to represent Christ in your daily life, carry the spirit of our church beyond the building, and be a visible reminder of hope, freedom, and new beginnings.

You never know who needs to see it.
You never know who’s praying for a sign.
You never know what conversation God might start because of something as small as a t-shirt.

When you wear Breakaway, you’re helping create connection, spark conversation, and make our church visible in the places people already are.
