Hebrews 7:11-7:28 Worship The Perfect Priest

The Old Testament priesthood was like a shadow pointing to something greater - Jesus Christ, our true High Priest. Unlike the old priests who lacked power to truly save, died and needed replacement, and had to offer sacrifices for their own sins first, Jesus offers something completely different. He has divine power to actually transform lives, provides permanent salvation that never expires, and is perfectly pure without sin. While the old priesthood could only point to what we needed, Jesus actually delivers complete forgiveness and lasting change. This means we don't have to settle for temporary spiritual symptom management - we can go directly to the One who has the power to heal and transform us from the inside out.
